Small drinking glass printed on both sides. The front has an 8th Air Force insignia surrounded by “388th BOMB GROUP (H) ASSOC.” The reverse has blue lettering that reads “388TH BOMBARDMENT GROUP –ANNUAL REUNION OF UNITS-STATIONED IN KNETTISHALL ENGLAND- JUNE 1943-1945.” The glass meas. approx. 3.25 inches tall.
The 388th was part of the 3rd Bomb Division of the 8th Air Force and flew out of a base in England at Knettishall. The Group flew B-17’s and participated in over 300 combat missions between July of 1943 and June of 1945.
