Original German elite unit sleeve insignia worn by members of FM Erwin Rommel’s vaunted Deutsche Afrikakorps (DAK) in North Africa, 1941 – 1943. Units of Rommel’s DAK authorized to wear the “Afrikakorps” cufftitle included the 15th Panzer Division, 21st Panzer Division, and the 90th Light Division – all conspicuous in the “Desert Fox’s” great victories of 1942. This cufftitle has been removed from a formal dress uniform. It is in excellent condition.
