Original German elite unit sleeve insignia worn by members of Waffen SS Panzer-Grenadier Regiment “Deutschland” (attached to Waffen SS 2nd Panzer Division Das Reich) during World War II.  Panzer-Grenadier Regiment “Deutschland” was attached to Waffen SS 2nd Panzer Division “Das Reich.”  One of the most famous – or infamous – German Waffen SS panzer units of World War II, the division was conspicuous for its performance in numerous battles in Russia (including Kharkov and Kursk), Normandy, and during the Battle of the Bulge.  This style using flatwire Latin script was introduced in December 1939.  This cufftitle has been removed from a uniform. It is in excellent condition.
