WORLD WAR TWO GERMAN PASSPORT

$35.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 727-409

There are four versions of standard Reisepässe or passports dating back to the Third Reich of Adolf Hitler. The earliest one had a Weimar eagle on the front with Nazi eagle and swastika stamps inside. By May of 1936, the standard Reisepass had the Weimar eagle replaced with the eagle and swastika between the words Deutsches Reich and Reisepass. The pass offered here is of this 2nd version.

This passport is for 42 year old Berta Luchoroits and her daughter. The pass was issued on July 29, 1939. A photo of Berta appears on the second page. The book was stamped on 3 of the first four pages but on each the eagle and swastika were blacked out. The pages describing the pass holder are filled out but after the first four pages the rest is blank.

Item is in good used condition.
