This booklet tells us that its owner was Marie Klimenko who was born in 1923 and came to Germany from the Ukraine. This registration book was issued to her at Ulm, Germany on December 7, 1943. She was employed as a helper in a cannery operated by Dr. Willi Knoll from 1942 to 1943 and then for the Edmund Zimmermann Meat Factory from 1943-1944 and finally for the Wieland Metal Works in Ulm until April 1945.

The book has a photo of Miss Klimenko attached with two eagle and swastika authorization stamps. There is also a stamp on the page that shows the booklets date of issue. Back cover has her signature.

Book is in overall very nice condition.

Foreigners working in Germany were required to carry this Labor Registration Booklet under the labor law of 1943. This booklet was used to create a personal, portable work history that would follow each foreign worker. [ad]
