This leather covered case of this 1st Class Iron Cross is in very good condition. There is an image of the medal embossed in silver on the lid. The push-button catch is the steel type.
The interior lid is lined with satin, which has an impression of the medal in the fabric. The cloth hinge is intact. The lower case is lined in velvet and has a slot to accommodate the medal pin.
Measures 2 ½” x 2 ½”. [sl]
