Booklet meas. approx. 4.50 x 5.75 inches with a brown cardboard cover with eagle and “DEUTSCHES REICH ARBEITSBUCH.” The book runs 32 pages and belonged to Mathilde Remmer who was born in 1919 and lived in Regensburg/Munchen, Germany.
The several pages filled out in this booklet show that Remmer worked through all 13 years of the Third Reich. In 1933 at the age 14 she worked in the shoe industry and finished the war in Munich as a city administrator in 1945. The booklet also contains personal information such as full birth date, hometown, marital status, training and so on. One entry shows that Remmer married and her last name changed to Steiner.
