Silk program shows a decorative floral border and lettering in dark blue.  Featured act was, “THE SCAMPS”. The event took place on December 21, 1917 and was held at the Kursaal Music Hall in Cairo, Egypt. It mentions special guests, “THE HIGH COMMISSIONER AND LADY WINGATE”. General Sir Francis Reginald Wingate, 1st Baronet, was a British general, Governor-General of the Sudan, Sirdar of the Egyptian Army from 1899 and 1916 and High Commissioner of Egypt from 1917-19. During the First World War Lady Wingate was president of the Cairo and Alexandria Red Cross Committee and of the Empire Nurses' Red Cross Clubs in the two cities, and for these services she was appointed Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire (DBE) in the 1920 civilian war honors.

The seventeen songs performed are listed on program, as well as other information.

Program measures 9 ½” by 14”. Silk shows yellowing, spotting and fraying. Fraying is mainly on the right side at the top and bottom corners.  [sl]
