Helmet is made of a green nylon material with black rubber earpieces for radio receivers.

The body of the exterior is in nice condition and free of any damage.

The back of the helmet has three green leather straps for attaching goggles. The two side straps snap in place while the center strap is sewn. Leather chinstrap and buckle are present. Chinstrap is wrapped at center with a soft black cloth for comfort of the wearer.

Left side of the helmet has two snaps for attaching an oxygen mask. One is located down by the chinstrap and the other is up by the black rubber earpiece. Right side just above the chinstrap has a black metal hook for holding the oxygen mask in place.

Interior has two chamois pads around the ears and a black cloth tag with gold lettering that reads “SIZE SMALL, CONTRACT NO. N288s-26302, SLOTE & KLEIN, INC.” Contract No. N288s is for the Naval Aviation Supply Depot in Philadelphia.

These helmets were made between October 1944 and March 1945.
