Helmet is the Model 1942 helmet with an unrolled edge and pressed air vents.

The helmets surface is painted a dark blue-gray color inside and out. Helmet has light streaks of white paint scattered here and there with larger amounts under the two front liner rivets. This shows that the helmet was once painted white for winter camouflage purposes.

There are no decals.

All three liner rivets remain. The inside of the helmet has a complete light brown leather liner with 8 tongues gathered in the crown by a drawstring. The chinstrap is missing. The inside rear of the helmet is marked “EF64” which means the helmet was manufactured by the Emaillerwerke AG in Fulda, Germany and is a size 64 centimeters.

Nice used World War Two helmet.
