This is a long K 98 bayonet with scabbard.
The leather frog is in excellent condition and is still soft to the touch.
The metal scabbard is in very good condition with some chipping to the paint.
The handle of the bayonet is wood and iron and is in very good condition with no obvious damage. Locking mechanism is functional .
The 20.5 inch blade is bright with maker's name at ricasso and military inspector's marks. Blade is in good condition with no pitting, scarring, or rust. Spine of the blade is stamped with crow and "W" over "14." [ad]
