These relics were recovered from the crash site of a German Bf/ME 109 aircraft. The location of the wreck is not known.

This is a small group of four pieces from the cockpit of the aircraft. They are the front portion of the throttle housing cover which has some automotive fiberglass repairs and a paper reproduction label for cosmetic purposes but is otherwise all original. There is also the throttle friction damper knob, the cockpit air vent door section, a bent control knob and a small nomenclature plate that reads “FAST STOPPING DEVICE” in German.

With the items is a page copied from a book showing the interior of a Bf/ME 109 cockpit with the pieces offered here circled to show where they were located in the plane.

Very interesting relics from one of the mainline World War Two German fighter aircraft.   [ad]
