Overall the drawn knife meas. approx. 12.00 inches long. The blade meas. approx. 7.00 inches long with a 2.75 inch long rectangular central fuller and a clipped style point. Blade retains about 98% of its original finish. Ricassos are unmarked. True edge is free of nicks.

Holding the knife point up and looking down onto the iron guard the mark of “CAMILLUS, N.Y.” is visible stamped on the guard’s long edge. The end of the guard is stamped with “U.S.N.” over “MARK 2.” There is some light surface rust in this area.

Ribbed wooden handle is very good with no nicks or cracks.

Gray fiberglass scabbard has chip in point. The blackened iron throat is marked “U.S.N.” over “MK 2” on the front and faintly on reverse “NORD 6581” over “B. M. Co.” and “V.P.” Scabbard is missing the gray woven frog for attaching to belt.  [ad]
