Black rubber mask complete with all components. Lenses are clear and unbroken. Filter is in good condition and not dented. Rubber is pliable and all suspension straps appear to be present.
Mask is marked on the left chin area with “L & B. R. ?” with a date of “29 7 42” and “LOT93 C.” The right side has a smudged mark that looks like “? R P” over “10 10 42.”
The head pad on the back of the suspension strap is marked with a broad arrow over “No. 4 III” with several other numbers beneath.
Item is in good overall condition and can be seen being worn in some wartime photographs. [ad]
