This is an original Model 1935 German helmet that was chromed at some point after the war for use as a motorcycle helmet. It was then repainted an apple green color and decals of the German national shield and of an army eagle with swastika were added.
The inside surface of the skirt has two areas that are rubbed and show the chrome beneath the green paint. Helmet contains the suspension band only. The liner is not present and there is no chinstrap. Interior dome is rusted showing the helmet may have originally been a relic.
Exterior paint is in very nice shape while the decals are both 95% present. [ad]
