This M34 "square dip" style helmet is of stamped aluminum construction and retains almost all of its original black satin finish paint. The left side of the helmet has a silver bordered, black police decal with the second pattern silver wreathed eagle as introduced on July 28TH 1936. The right side of the helmet has a black bordered red flag with black swastika on a white field also known as a party shield decal. Both decals are 98% intact. There are two separate groups of seven ventilation holes just below the crown on each side of the helmet. All four of the flat headed liner retaining rivets are intact.

The interior of the helmet has a M31 style light tan leather liner which is complete with four leather tabs for attaching a Havelock to protect the neck. The original chinstrap is present and in good condition. The interior of the crown is lined with a leather pad.

Helmet is marker marked on the inside skirt. Holes for the attachable aluminum comb have been filled in as usual.

Size marked 56.

Overall this is a nice clean example in very good condition.  [ad]
