This is an original console of the famous World War Two Focke-Wulf 190 German Fighter. The console’s non-ferrous metal housing portion was purchased from a well-known aircraft dealer in California and the wiring harness/instruments came from a crash site in Germany. There is no available history on either aircraft.

This is the correct matching wiring harness for this control console. The console is in relic condition with 15% to 20% of the original surface area missing due to oxidation from the elements. The holes have been patched up with sheet metal, rivets and auto-body epoxy to stabilize the structure. That being said, most of the original instrument slot surfaces are present.

The wiring harness is mostly complete. The original instruments and plugs to the harness have moderate to severe oxidation and are non-functional. The radio channel switch is an original service replacement that has the original Bakelite knob. The landing gear indicator light has a part of the relic remains of the internal switch, with an original replacement face and resin reproduction housing. It is missing the two radio control boxes on the rear slots (though one of the original remains are attached to the harness), but original replacements can easily be found on the Internet.

This rare piece of history can be displayed as is or can be a good restoration project.  [ad]
