A very high quality US Model 1841 US 12 Pound Iron Mountain Howitzer likely dating from the 1960s. Has markings on trunnions as pictured muzzle as pictured in the photos. Very high quality carriage showing nice even age throughout. This was being used as a shooter for many years and likely will still perform as intended for reenactments or would make a stunning display.
Please note: The gun is not here at The Horse Soldier – it is located just outside Charlotte NC, call to make arrangements to view and inspect it if interested.
