This pack of 8-second artillery fuses originates from the Frankford Arsenal and was produced in 1863. The pack is constructed of a drilled wood block covered with a paper label. This paper covering is complete and the five cloth tear strips remain. The paper is pale yellow. All 5 fuses remain undisturbed inside.
