The full title of this work is “THE SECOND WISCONSIN INFANTRY WITH LETTERS AND RECOLLECTIONS BY OTHER MEMBERS OF THE REGIMENT” by George H. Otis and edited by Alan Gaff and published by Morningside Book Shop, Dayton, Ohio in 1984.
Book is hardbound with sky-blue cloth covers with the title in gold on the spine. Covers are in good condition.
Volume meas. approx. 6.25 x 9.25 inches and runs 372 pages with index, roster and photographs of several members of the regiment. Interior is very clean.
The oldest member of the famous Iron Brigade, the 2nd Wisconsin saw action from 1st Bull Run in July of 1861 to Hatcher’s Run in October of 1864. [ad] [ph:L]
