The full title of this work is “TO GETTYSBURG AND BEYOND; THE TWELFTH NEW JERSEY VOLUNTEER INFANTRY, 2ND CORPS, ARMY OF THE POTOMAC 1862-1865” by Edward G. Longacre and published by Longstreet House, Hightstown, New Jersey in 1988.

Book is hardbound with blue cloth covers. Title is on the spine in gold. Light blue dustjacket with title and artwork in black. Cover has light surface dirt.

Volume meas. approx. 6.25 x 9.25 inches and runs 465 pages with roster and index. Interior is very clean.

The book contains numerous photos of members of the regiment. The 12th New Jersey saw action in many of the major battles fought by the Army of the Potomac during the war losing 9 officers and 267 men killed, died of wounds and disease plus many others wounded and survived.  [ad] [ph:L]
