This is a 1987 reprint done by Ron R. Van Sickle Military Books of the 1906 original written by Charles D. Page.
Hardback volume meas. approx. 6.50 x 9.25 inches with red covers and the title in gold on the front cover and spine. Interior runs 509 pages with index and roster and is very clean.
The 14th Connecticut served with the Army of the Potomac’s 2nd Corps from Antietam to Appomattox and was in “the Angle” during Pickett’s Charge at Gettysburg. The regiment is listed among Fox’s “300 Fighting Regiments” and during its time of service lost 18 officers and 379 enlisted men killed, died of wounds and disease. [AD] [PH:L]
