Seville, former captain of Company E. Published by Longstreet House, Hightstown, N. J. in 1986. This is volume #439 of 500 printed

Volume is hardcover and bound in brown faux leather with the title and author embossed in white on the front cover and repeated on the spine. Covers are in excellent, like new, condition. The book meas. approx. 5.50 x 8.50 inches and runs 163 pages with index.

Interior is also like new and very clean. Binding is excellent.

The 1st Delaware was organized September 10, 1861 and were eventually assigned to the 2nd Corps of the Army of the Potomac. They saw action at Antietam, Fredericksburg, Chancellorsville, Gettysburg, Mine Run, Wilderness, Spotsylvania, Cold Harbor and the siege of Petersburg.

During its service the regiment lost 15 officers and 264 enlisted men killed, died of wounds and disease. [ad] [PH:L]
