Hardcover bound in red cloth with the title in gold on the spine. Covers have very light edge wear and are otherwise good.
Volume runs 692 pages with many black & white photographs of famous Virginians in the war as well as several fold-out maps. Binding is excellent, endpapers are marbled. Page edges have slightly yellowed from age. [ad] [PH:L]
