Aqua glass cylinder shaped bottle shows a rolled lip and pontil scar. Embossing reads, "B.A. FAHNESTOCK'S VERMIFUGE".
Bottle measures 4.25" tall by .75" in diameter. No chips or cracks.
B.A. Fahnestock of Pittsburgh promoted a number of patent medicinal products and remedies. He is listed among nine Pittsburgh drug houses operating in 1829. His Vermifuge was meant for expelling worms. [sl] [ph:sl]
