This is an original 1861 dated $3.00 note from the Augusta Savings Bank. The central image on this note is a collection of fire-fighting equipment. The left side features an Indian woman. At the bottom left is the printed date of December 9th 1861. The note is correctly hand signed in ink. Border and some text printed in red ink.
The note is in circulated condition. The overall size of the note measures approximately 6 1/8” by 2 ¾”. [jet] [ph:L]
