Small card made of cardstock measures just under three and a half inches wide by two and one eighths inches high. In the center of the card reads “Edwin M. Stanton.” There is a pencil inscription below in the lefthand corner that reads “June 25. 1886.”

The reverse is blank with the exception of a small pencil note in the corner which reads “10” in a circle as well as a small dark ink smudge toward the top of the card.

This calling card is in fine condition with no tears or breaks in the cardstock. The corners are all in good shape with no rounding.  [cla] [ph:L]
