Front cover feature story and illustration— “General Warren Extending and Fortifying His Line Across the Weldon Railroad. Also, full page depictions of “General Sherman’s Victory—Rebel Prisoners Being conducted to Atlanta,” and “The Halt,” showing soldiers soaking their feet and filling canteens.

As well as an utterly magnificent double page illustration of Lincoln holding the flag surrounded by soldiers and a drummer boy, w/the lyrics of “Rally round the Flag in the lower margin. Plus, Atlanta Campaign Illustrations: “General Sherman’s Army Destroying the Macon Railroad Between Rough and Ready and Jonesborough, Georgia”— “Destruction of Cars By General Hood Previous to the Evacuation of Atlanta.”

Exhibits one slight miniscule tea on lower left margin, plus slight yellowing. Else near fine. Superb illustrations. Excellent collectible. In protective sleeve w/white card backing. [jp] [ph:L]
