Blued socket bayonet in excellent condition. Locking ring works well and blade has a good "US" stamping. The bayonet surface retains most of its original blue with one small rust spot near the flat.
Japanned metal scabbard is in very nice condition with no dents and 98% of its finish. Leather frog is a reproduction but the brass “US” rosette and hanger are original but have been cleaned. [ad] [ph:m]
