Triangular socket bayonet which looks similar to the 1855 bayonet but made for a 50/70 rifle which has a smaller bore.
Surface is bright with moderate mottling, and minor pitting on the socket and elbow. The blade measures 18” and socket is 3”. The locking ring works well.
