Completely blued socket bayonet that still retains 98% of the original finish throughout. Locking ring works well and blade has a crisp "US" stamping.
Metal scabbard is also blued throughout with minor spots of oxidation. Brown leather frog is in excellent condition. Stitching is tight. Frog has a brass “US” rosette with hanger. Brass surface has a light patina. [AD] [ph:L]
