9" blade of traditional form, serrated back with 3" false edge, stamped "COCKER / GLASGOW". Maker William Dixon Cocker, in business 1836-46. Wood grip with characteristic basket-weave carving set with silver studs. Leather scabbard with moulded designs, stitching completely intact, engraved silver mounts. A fine dirk, overall condition fine+ to ex., blade smooth and clean with only a few light stains. [PE] [PH:L]
