This saber is non-regulation in that it has an enlisted M1840 artillery hilt mounted with an earlier blade from the 1810-1820 period.  Guard is an enlisted version and was cleaned some time ago and is starting to patina.  Grip is American made, and is now down to the wood-turned core with double twisted wire.  Blade has remnants of gold wash but does not have any fire blue remaining.  Etch is deep and strong.  Obverse blade etch is stand of arms / Eagle with EPU ribbon / wreath / sun.  Reverse etch has foliate / Motto :  Honor and My Country /  stand of arms - flags - liberty cap.  Steel scabbard has some pitting on the drag and has taken on a dark patina.
