Very bright and clean blade with no nicks on the edge and only a few small spots of oxidation. Ricasso is marked on one side with “HORSTMANN & SONS PHILADELPHIA” while the opposite side is blank. There is no leather washer present at the base of the blade.
Hilt is made of brass with a ribbed grip and a single knuckle bow with narrow counterguard ending in a quillon. All have a light patina.
