BRITISH NAPOLEONIC WAR REGULATION PATTERN 1796 LIGHT CAVALRY SABER, EX-RON TUNISON COLLECTION

$995.00 ON HOLD

Quantity Available: 1

Item Code: 88-95

This fine sword is complete with its original scabbard. The massive 33 inch long "Butch Tip" blade is deeply stamped "GILL" on the spine. Also an inspector's stamp of a crown over "1" is clearly visible. The blade has a gunmetal gray patina with areas of minor surface pitting. The heavy scabbard has a similar patina with slightly heavier, but not unsightly, pitting. Grips retail 95% original leather. This sword has a great look and was once the property of the renowned artist Ron Tunison. These sabers were in Spain at Waterloo and New Orleans. [pe] [ph:L]
