This is an excellent small flask for a pocket revolver. It is unmarked, but typical of those sold with .31 and .32 caliber revolvers. The spout is non-adjustable. The thumbpiece and spring are present, functional and have lots of blue. There is some lacquered gilt remaining on the color and top. The body is brighter yellow from handling over the years, but there are no dents or open seams, and just some thin age spotting.
This could fill out a case set or would display well with one of the many pocket size pistols of the 1840s-1850s. [sr] [ph:m/L]
