This stereo view was taken from an unknown location in the Gettysburg Soldier’s National Cemetery. The image shows the manicured grounds and raised headstones as well as the urns that once decorated the cemetery. Visible in the background among the trees is a wood observation tower that once stood on East Cemetery Hill.
The image is clear and clean with good contrast and comes mounted on an orange card with some light corner wear.
The reverse has a list of Mumper views in this series with the title “GRAVES IN NATIONAL CEMETERY” checked. The reverse also has a faint name stamped on it and another name written in ink.
