Plate features a colorful view of the Gettysburg town square. Rim of plate is edged in a gold gilt band. Wording below image reads, “CENTER SQUARE, GETTYSBURG, PA”.
Plate measures 6 ¼” in diameter. Very good condition with no cracks or chips. Reverse has maker’s mark that reads, “IMPOTRED AND PAINTED FOR GEO. F. MITCHELL, GETTYSBURG, PA, HAND PAINTED, GERMANY, THE JONROTH STUDIOS”.
This is a nice, vintage Gettysburg collectible. [sm]
