2-piece brass badge. Upper “Massachusetts” pin-bar, 1 x 1.38” with “50th ANNIVERSARY BATTLE OF GETTYSBURG 1863 1913”. The lower medallion features a six-pointed star, encircling a head profile of Abraham Lincoln, and is 1.75” in diameter. Connected by 3 chain links, the lower inscription reads as follows: “Reunion of the Veterans of the Civil War/ Gettysburg, Pa, 1913.” Reverse maker-mark: “The Whitehead & Hoag Co./ Newark, NJ.” Exhibits pleasing dark coppery patina.
