Small souvenir canteen shows an image of John Burns on one side, with Jennie Wade on the reverse. Lettering that encircles John Burns reads, “JULY 1,2,3, 1863 JOHN L. BURNS”. Lettering around Jennie Wade reads, “KILLED JULY 2, 1863 JENNIE WADE”. Two tacks are mounted on the sides to represent sling keepers. Original thread remains.

Canteen measures 1 ¼” in diameter. No chips or cracks.  [sl]
