English Delft tin-glazed pottery jar features a cartouche label that reads, “S ROSAR: SOL:”, flanked by cherubs. This was for a syrup of rose petals. This jar has very unique scalloped gray bands at the mouth, spout and base. Jar displays scattered surface cracks and chips, which are typical and acceptable with collectors because of use and age.
Measures 11” high x 4” at the base. [SM]
