Original oval Pattern 1839 US belt plate in cleaned condition.
Face has been heavily cleaned. The surface has numerous scratches from age and use but nothing deep. Also the edges are good and free of dents.
The back of the plate has 100% of the lead fill. Both “puppy-paw” posts and tongue are present.
