VERY NICE CIVIL WAR “SMALL” PISTOL CARTRIDGE BOX

$225.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 1037-539

Original pistol cartridge box with clean leather and tight seams. The leather has a nice brownish-black color overall. Possibly for .31 caliber (M1849) cartridge packs; the “box” portion only measures 4.5” across.

Outer flap shows no cracking to the finish. There are no maker’s stamps. Latch tab is complete, unbroken and held in place with a single line of stitching.

The interior of the box is very good. The back has both belt loops which are stitched; no rivets. Brass finial is present on bottom.  Very good condition.  [jet] [ph:L]
