This large albumen image is matted but not framed. Image size is approximately 13” x 9 ¼”. Photo shows what is probably the artillery park at the Washington Arsenal. A very long row of cannons are in line with limbers and forges also visible. Three men lounging around (two in uniform) in the foreground and a building visible in the far distance. Image is nice and clear with some fading. A portion of a pencil caption was removed in the past leaving only “Arsenal Wash D.C.” A great photo of a bunch of cannons! [jet] [ph:L]
