Civil War period albumen sized lithograph of President Abraham Lincoln. Image is a bust view with the President posed in a slight right profile wearing the usual dark suit, white shirt and dark bowtie.
Contrast and clarity are good but the printed publishing information at bottom and the Presidents facsimile signature at bottom center have faded.
The albumen meas. approx. 7.75 x 9.75 and comes with its original oval mat which has separated from the mount leaving some residue of paper and glue. However, if framed with the mat in place, the image displays very well.
