Ca. 1865. No Back-mark. Crisp and clear, this image depicts the Soldiers’ Home (Anderson Cottage) from an elevated angle. It was here that Lincoln resided to escape Washington heat during the summers of 1862-3-4; and also here that he wrote that he wrote the January 1, 1863, Emancipation Proclamation.  Solid Collectible.   [jp]
