Soldier wears a dark forage cap and matching dark shell jacket and trousers. He also wears light colored gauntlets on his hands.
The woman wears a medium colored dress with a dark crosshatched decoration and white lace collar.
Clarity is good and contrast is passable. Mount and paper have moderate surface dirt from age and storage.
