View is a sixth-plate image of a Union soldier standing with his arms by his side. He wears a dark forage cap, dark frock coat and matching trousers. At his waist is his belt with a gilt touched oval plate and cap box. A close look reveals a cigar clenched in the subject’s mouth.
Clarity, contrast, condition and cleanliness is all excellent.
