$950.00

Quantity Available: 1

Item Code: 846-520

Image has some discoloration around the edges but the two unidentified subjects are clearly visible.

The subjects are two clean shaven, young artillerymen seated side by side in identical uniforms consisting of dark forage caps with tinted red bands around the base of the crown, light-colored shell jackets with tinted red cuffs and tinted cloth epaulettes with matching trousers with leg stripes. One man is posed with his hands in his lap while the other has his arms crossed over his chest. The soldier at right also wears a partially tinted sash or belt around his waist. All uniform buttons are touched with gilt paint.

The contrast is fair and the clarity is good except around the edges as described above.

Image comes with a decorative brass mat and stamped brass frame in a full leather case with split hinge. [ad] [ph:L]
