This is a sixth-plate ambrotype photograph of a group posed outdoors. They appear to be in front of a cemetery or church yard with a tall iron fence.
Nineteen individuals are posed in the photo. The photographer’s mobile darkroom box is just visible at the far left edge. A slightly dark image overall but packed with people and a very fine ambrotype. In a half case. [jet][ph:L]
